The Life You Save May Be Your Own
Overview of The Covid-19 Global Medical Summit

Our goal with the Summit is to open the eyes of doctors who think it’s not a real threat and we can continue as usual.

Without exception the docs in Wuhan and Italy when they heard this said "then you will all die--we also used to think this way." -My goal is to prevent this --more than a vaccine or cure, we need to change our mindset and to communicate our best practices with one another.

The Summit is filling an urgent, immediate need. It is an honor to bring practitioners from the front lines, from around the world, together online in interactive discussions that lead to consensus and rapid action

TESTING: World’s Leading Experts Reveal the Truth Behind the Tests

A test that gives the wrong answer is worse than no test at all.

Now as practices are reopening there are ore than 100 testing options for Covid, and no way to understand which ones are meaningful and which ones are worthless. Rapid tests, RNA tests  oral and nasal tests and Antibody tests

The answers to these questions already exist from large scale testing validation and screening programs in hospitals and outpatient primary care networks in the hot zones.

For the first time anywhere, we have assembled the world’s leading experts with the largest experience of these screening programs. Get the answers you need so that you can open safely.
They have tested more than 15,000 patients

Learn from experts in New York, Italy, Seattle, and Connecticut and use their protocols to protect your patients and yourself.

During the event, we will discuss:

  • What are the different testing methods and how do they differ?
  • How do saliva, nasal, and serum virus RNA tests differ?
  • How do antibody IgG IgM tests differ and do they indicate immunity?  if so at what levels?
  • When and how should staff and patients be tested?
  • How to incorporate testing to make a meaningful difference and avoid false reassurances

Find out how testing will fit into your larger strategy of patient care and triage as you reopen. Stay safe and protect your patients!

IVF Starting up again? Not If-  But How?

Since our last session on the ASRM guidelines, our world has changed and we need to make some critical decisions in the next few days. Please join us for an urgent interactive discussion of the major issues facing all of us.

On Thursday April 9th, NY Governor Andrew Cuomo's executive order explicitly designated fertility as an “essential service.” In NY, the decision of how and when to provide these services is now one to be made between a patient and her doctor.  ASRM will also update guidelines on Monday 4/13- but we don't expect any changes.

What does this clarification mean for practitioners in the rest of the United States and around the world?

This discussion must continue. Join a panel of IVF experts from across the US with differing views for a practical, honest look at where we are now, and how we can safely start treating our patients again.  We will have members of the ASRM task force and also centers that remain open now.

In this event we will set the stage for worldwide collaboration in real time, in an ongoing manner, faster than any traditional medical publishing, guidelines, or conferences can achieve

Session #3 Thursday April 7, 2020

A special open-source patient live event with experts

This is no webinar – it is an interactive summit where the patient voice needs to heard.

What are the top myths out there about Covid-19, and how can you protect yourself and your loved ones? · Learn how to get the help and information you need to make a plan while you pause treatment, and how to protect your life while continuing to build your family through this pause.

In this groundbreaking event patient's themselves speak up and help policy makers understand the issues from the patient’s perspective, and come together to find a way through the Covid fertility crisis.

ASRM IVF Guidelines: Too Far ?

Covid-19 has hit the USA and some areas are affected far more than others.

The ASRM task force acted quickly to release guidelines that have paused most fertility treatments in the USA.  Many have applauded this as the required steps to save lives and our hospital system today - there are already 30,000 cases in NY.  While others think it has gone too far, will force practices to close, and blocks patient autonomy.   Some practices are not following them and an online petition against them has been started.

For the first time our platform will enable a free and open discussion of both points of view.  We need your voice. We need your input.

There is a place for your voice to be heard.  Together we can move forward.

Speakers include: Richard Scott, Kevin Doody, Jamie Grifo, Beverly Reed, Marcelle Cedars, Filippo Maria Ubaldi, Steven Palter

Lessons from the
Front Lines

Wuhan, China is one month ahead of Brescia, Italy. Brescia is one month ahead of New York City. New York is one month ahead of the interior of the United States. We have a rare opportunity to learn from the practitioners who were first confronted with this pandemic.

Our Ob Gyn colleagues in China and Italy will candidly share their story of what has happened to devastate their country. And New York physicians will describe what is going on now. These front line physicians will share their hard-won secrets for how to safely treat Covid-19 patients, how to beat the virus and how American doctors can protect themselves and their families.

Event outcomes:

  • US participants will have an eye-opening view of the tragic devastation Covid-19 has caused in China and Italy
  • US OB/GYNs will learn how to treat this disease in their patients, and how to protect themselves and their families. Physicians from around the world compare their experiences and form a consensus on best practices
  • We will form a global OB/GYN community singularly united to battle this pandemic and set the stage for worldwide collaboration in real time, in an ongoing manner, faster than any traditional medical publishing, guidelines, or conferences can achieve
